2011 Football Alumni Tailgate Party
The 10th Annual Season End Alumni Tailgate brought over 50 former Hawaii football players together before the BYU game. Players from the 1960’s to recent graduates took part in the event and had a great time catching up with each other and reminiscing about “the good old days”. Fans also had the opportunity to get autographs and photos of their favorite Rainbows and Warriors.
The alumni players then showed their support for the current team by being part of the human tunnel and cheered on the Warriors as they entered the field.
The annual event was coordinated by former players Kelly McGill, Michael Carter, and David Maeva. Na Koa Board Membership and Alumni Relations Chair, Mike Biscotti, himself a former player, coordinated the Board efforts. Assistance was provided by the Na Koa Football Club staff and the UH Athletic Director’s office. A very special thanks to Roger Reeves of Centerplate for donating food and drink for the event!
