Fifteen Warrior football players were among the 1,500 graduates at the Spring Commencement Exercises held on Saturday, May 15th at the Stan Sheriff Center. Those graduating during the summer participated in the Spring Commencement.
The graduates were Greg Alexander, Cameron Allen-Jones, Jeramy Bryant, J.P. Davis, Tim Grasso, Laupepa Letuli, Joey Lipp, Daniel Libre, Chad Mock, Jon Medeiros, Elliott Purcell, Joshua Rice, Mana Silva, Spencer Smith and Blaze Soares.
Each of the graduates received a H-logo stole courtesy of the UH Letterwinners Club and participated in a pre-graduation breakfast along with their families and Letterwinners in other sports at the UH Letterwinners Clubhouse.
One of Coach McMackin’s goals is to graduate all players. To assist the Warrior football program accomplish this goal, Na Koa raises funds for summer school tuitions (about $250,000 in 2009) and a full-time academic coordinator (about $40,000 in 2009).
