Aloha Nā Koa members,

December brings us to the end of a tumultuous and challenging 2020. We learned how much we appreciate all of our faithful fans and how an empty stadium is something that we never want to play in again. Despite the shortened Mountain West Conference football season, your Warriors worked diligently each day and played with unmatched fight week in and week out. I am more and more impressed each week with the buy in from our team.

We look forward to finishing the 2020 season on a strong note and spring-boarding into 2021. We are all hopeful that the new year will bring us all back to some sense of life as we knew it before COVID-19 and that we can play in the fall of 2021 in front of our fans at Aloha Stadium.

On the recruiting front, the NCAA has declared a “dead period” until 15 April 2021 which precludes any in-person recruiting; contact with recruits via phone calls or virtual means of communication (zoom, facetime, etc) is allowed and the coaches have been hard at work during the season searching out talent to add to our team. The two signing dates to pay attention to are Wednesday, 16 December (early signing) and Wednesday, 3 February 2021 (traditional signing date). We are unsure of the final number of recruits we will sign for this “class” as the NCAA is allowing institutions to apply for “season of competition waivers” for current seniors

On behalf of our team, we wish you a very happy holiday season and all the best as we start a new year.

Mahalo for your continued support of Nā Koa and Warrior Football!

Win Every Day!

Todd Graham
