Aloha Nā Koa members!

I hope your summer is off to a great start!

Our Warriors will be spending the summer undertaking summer school again this year. Generous support from the Waterhouse Charitable Trust and our members and donors allows players to remain in Hawai‘i over the summer attending school and participating in an eight-week strength and conditioning program. While the team is in the classroom, the coaching staff will be hard at work on the recruiting trail visiting with prospective Warriors and attending camps on the Mainland. All of this a great sign that things are slowly returning to normal!

We are excited by what we saw in our Warriors and what we were able to achieve in Spring Practice. Over the course of 15 practices, we continued work on establishing our team culture and improving important techniques that will help us be successful in the 2021 season. We are also happy to report that Spring Practice concluded with our team in good health and no major injuries. Work on the Clarence TC Ching improvements are under way and we are very excited to be playing on our own field. We look forward to practicing on the new turf when the team reports for Fall Camp on 29 July and competing at our first home game on 4 September.

Thank you to everyone that supported Nā Koa’s annual Ed Wong Memorial golf tournament. We enjoyed meeting the sold out crowd of 144 golfers! If you were not able to make the in-person tournament, please consider supporting the virtual tournament scheduled for June 15 to July 15 (visit for more information on the virtual tournament), Membership renewals for the 2021-22 year were also emailed/mailed out recently. Please consider renewing your membership in Nā Koa. Every dollar goes directly to support your Rainbow Warrior Football team in the areas of education, safety and health.

Take care, stay safe, and Win Every Day!
