Mahalo to Don and Marion Murphy for hosting the 20th annual Murphy’s Pigskin Pigout benefitting Na Koa and the Hawaii Bowl Foundation. The event marks the traditional start of the UH Football season and saw over 300 people fill Merchant Street outside Murphy’s Bar and Grill for a food and fun-filled street party. Murphy’s famous roasted pig along with pizza from Papa John’s and a special porchetta sandwich from Quan Nguyen were on the menu. The live auction featured Neighbor Island and Mainland trips, sports memorabilia, a hand-crafted ukulele and surfboard, and much more. Over $75,000 was raised to support Na Koa and local charities through the Hawai‘i Bowl Foundation. Thanks to everyone who supported the event!
