The 1992 Rainbow Warrior football team, under head coach Bob Wagner ended their season with an 11-2 record and went to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, representing the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).  Winning with a 27-17 victory over Illinois.  Three team members, Jason Elam, Maa Tanuvasa and Darrick Branch were also drafted in the 3rd and 8th rounds.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of their winning season, the 1992 team planned a reunion and were honored the Hawai‘i vs Wyoming football game on October 29.  They started their reunion weekend with a welcome reception at Tiki’s Grill & Bar hosted by fellow alum, Kelly McGill.  They also fit in a family fun night and a few of the guys got together to fit in a round of golf.  On game day, a pre-game reception was held in front of the Nā Koa and Letterwinner’s Clubhouse.  Sharing memories and lots of laughter over food and drinks.  It was an honor to spend time with these former players and their families.  They were honored during the game and during half time, they presented the team with a BOWarrior carving that now sits in the football locker room.
